Job Summary:

Carilion Clinic is seeking a skilled Adjunctive Therapist to join our team in Roanoke, VA. As an Adjunctive Therapist, you will provide therapeutic services, including adjunctive therapy modalities and group therapy, as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and supervise therapy groups and activities to promote patient engagement and progress.
  • Document patient interactions and progress notes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Participate in educational opportunities and maintain professional credentials to stay up-to-date on best practices.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide effective communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.

Requirements:

Education: A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.

Experience: One year of related experience is preferred.

Licensure: Therapeutic Recreation Specialist certification is preferred.

Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
