Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and review detailed 2D and 3D electrical schematics for field applications, ensuring seamless coordination with subcontractors.
  • Engage in coordination discussions to address design conflicts while upholding budgetary and regulatory standards.
  • Create shop drawings and detailed cross-sections for underground systems, conduits, and cables to guide fabrication and installation teams.
  • Draft documentation for design clarifications through Requests for Information (RFIs) and manage follow-up communications.
  • Interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical plans to ensure accurate implementation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to resolve issues and clarify design intents to construction personnel.
  • Travel to various project locations as necessary to oversee implementation.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a BIM-related capacity.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk software, particularly Revit and Navisworks.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM 360 Glue, and other collaborative modeling tools is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction processes and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of 3D coordination principles.
  • Basic computer skills, including email and file management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
