The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in addiction treatment and be able to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Assessment and Care
    • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' medical, physical, and psychosocial status to inform treatment plans.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address clients' unique needs and goals.
  • Medication Management
    • Prescribe and monitor medication as necessary to support clients' recovery.
    • Collaborate with clients and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to clients.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client observations, interventions, and progress in electronic health records.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Professional Development
    • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices in addiction treatment.
    • Engage in peer review and quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical practice.

Requirements:

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state.
  • 2 years of experience working with clients with substance abuse disorders preferred.
  • Experience prescribing medication-assisted treatment (MAT) preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records.
