Remotely Based School Psychologist

VocoVision is a leading provider of TelePractice services nationwide, partnering with school districts to offer remote therapy solutions. As a fully remote School Psychologist for the 2024/2025 school year, you will play a vital role in our mission.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct virtual psychological assessments and evaluations for students, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective intervention plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students with various emotional and behavioral challenges, promoting healthy development and academic success.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement targeted intervention strategies, supporting student growth and well-being.
- Participate in IEP and 504 plan meetings as needed, ensuring comprehensive support for students with diverse needs.
- Offer training and support to staff on mental health issues and strategies, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with relevant regulations, upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
- A Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field, demonstrating expertise in child development and mental health.
- An active and valid state licensure or certification as a school psychologist, guaranteeing your qualifications and commitment to excellence.
- At least 2 years of experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting, preferably with virtual experience, showcasing your adaptability and passion for innovative approaches.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with students, families, and colleagues, and navigate complex situations with tact and diplomacy.
- Proficiency in using virtual platforms for assessments and counseling, highlighting your ability to stay current with emerging technologies and trends.
- A strong work ethic and excellent time management skills, allowing you to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with 1099 contract positions, showcasing your flexibility and willingness to adapt to different work arrangements.
