Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Optometric Assistant to join our team at Pearle Vision - Coralville. As an Optometric Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, clerical, and technical support to our Optometrist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, greeting patients and answering questions in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Schedule appointments, document patient histories, and file insurance claims with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist the Optometrist with technical tasks, including taking visual acuity, seating patients at eye-testing machines, and attaching results to patient charts.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • No prior experience needed, as we provide comprehensive training for all necessary equipment and insurance procedures.
