Job Summary

Crisdel Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As a Finish Dozer Operator, you will be responsible for operating GPS finish dozers on slopes and subgrade to support high production excavation and embankment projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate GPS finish dozers on slopes and subgrade to support high production excavation and embankment projects
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks, greasing equipment, and participating in daily routine maintenance
  • Work safely while adhering to Crisdel's Safety Program & Guidelines and all federal, state, and local rules and regulations
  • Adhere to Crisdel's Employment Handbook and work with pride, integrity, and honor in an ethical manner
  • Maintain a positive working relationship between co-workers and employees of subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and agency individuals working on a Crisdel job site
  • Be self-motivated and ambitious, and able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Report to work on time, take meal breaks only during allocated time periods, and report back to work until the end of the designated shift
Qualifications
  • Ability to operate GPS finish dozers on slopes and subgrade to support high production excavation and embankment projects
  • Minimum 2 years of operating experience
  • Demonstrated safe and proficient operation of equipment in a variety of work environments
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 18 years of age or older
  • Current driver's license that meets state requirements (CDL preferred, but not required)
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and motor vehicle records check, and a criminal background check
Physical Demands

The physical demands of this position include sitting, standing, walking, climbing, stooping, twisting, reaching, bending, trunk movements, lifting a minimum of 45 pounds, carrying, pushing, pulling, dexterity of utilizing hands and fingers, seeing (close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception), hearing, and speaking.

Typical Work Conditions

Typical work conditions include working outside on a construction site and/or roadway project while being exposed to heat, noise, vibration, and varying weather conditions. Depending on the schedule of an individual project, work may be required during the day, at night, or on weekends.
