Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Weekend RN Supervisor for our Weekend day shift, 7a-7p, every Saturday and Sunday. You will have the flexibility to work another job during the week or spend time with your family while still being eligible for full-time benefits.
The Weekend Track program allows you to dedicate your week to school and weekends to work. If you're currently in school working towards your BSN or MSN, this position is ideal for you. St. Peter's Health Partners offers tuition reimbursement to all full-time and part-time employees.
Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments on elders who may have had a fall, a decline in condition, or suicidal comments.
- Act as the senior liaison and administrative person on the campus, addressing staffing and family concerns.
- Participate in auditing or QA activities.
- Demonstrate the organization's commitment to sound ethical business practices.
Requirements:
- A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of New York.
- An Associate's degree in nursing or Degree of Nursing from an accredited school.
- 1 year or more of experience in a skilled nursing setting as a RN.
- The ability to lead and supervise a team of different backgrounds and possess strong de-escalation skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and strong critical thinking skills to problem-solve.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is $45-$65 per hour, based on location and experience. We offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and tuition reimbursement.
