Part-Time School Psychologist Opportunity

Make a Positive Impact on Elementary School Students

Soliant Education is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to join our team in the Cimarron Hills, CO area. This part-time, in-person position for the 2024-2025 school year offers a unique chance to provide essential psychological services to elementary school students in a supportive learning environment while maintaining a flexible work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group assessments to identify students' academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to address students' specific challenges and promote their academic achievement and social-emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and parents to create a cohesive and supportive team approach for student success.
  • Provide crisis intervention support to students experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulties.
  • Consult with teachers and staff on strategies to promote positive learning environments and address classroom management concerns.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in school psychology and child development.
  • Contribute to data analysis and program evaluation to measure the effectiveness of interventions and services offered.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Colorado State School Psychologist License or eligibility for licensure.
  • Prior experience working with children in a school setting, particularly elementary school students, is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of child development, mental health issues, and evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, teachers, administrators, and other school staff.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.
  • A passion for promoting student success and well-being, and a commitment to working collaboratively within a school community.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible part-time work schedule.
