**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Promote Student Success:** Support your assigned student according to their Individualized Education Plan (IEP), fostering their growth and development.
- **Behavioral Support:** Provide tailored behavioral assistance and teach essential life skills, playing a crucial role in a multidisciplinary team.
- **Diverse Environment:** Engage with students from various developmental, cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- **One-on-One Assistance:** Work closely with an assigned student to achieve IEP goals, making necessary accommodations and modifications.
- **Behavior Support Plans:** Assist in creating and adjusting behavior support strategies.
- **Data Tracking:** Implement behavior support plans and maintain records of behaviors, progress, and incidents.
- **Crisis Management:** Utilize de-escalation techniques and, if needed, physical restraint to ensure the safety of students and staff.
- **Positive Environment:** Cultivate an inclusive atmosphere that encourages the development of appropriate social and behavioral skills.
- **Supervision:** Ensure constant monitoring of students, including during transitions between school locations.
- **Collaboration:** Work with interdisciplinary team members to ensure the consistent application of behavior support plans.
- **Personal Care:** Provide personal care assistance based on the individual needs of the student.
- **Effective Communication:** Maintain clear communication with parents regarding student progress.
