About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Technologist to join our team at Billings Clinic. As an EP Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting and performing adult diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures, including ablations and device implantation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist and perform EP procedures with minimal supervision, including setup and maintenance of the sterile field, arterial and venous lines, and patient positioning.
  • Monitor patient condition and response to treatment during procedures, and provide procedural education for patients and family members.
  • Operate and troubleshoot EP lab equipment, including x-ray, XPER monitoring system, and database, EP monitoring system and database, intravascular ultrasound, ablation system, cardiac stimulator, cautery/grounding, and intra-cardiac echocardiography.
  • Communicate effectively with nursing units, OR, and patient families as needed, and inform management of any unusual concerns or situations.
Requirements
  • Graduate of Cardiovascular school or other related medical specialty, or graduate of a recognized approved American Medical Association Council of Education program in Radiological Technology.
  • RCES/HRS/CEPS or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Current CPR Class C certification at hire, and ACLS certification preferred.
  • ARRT - Current Montana license as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
