Certified Nursing Assistant/Direct Support Professional

We are a growing company and have multiple roles open for a skilled CNA/DSP. As a Certified Nursing Assistant/Direct Support Professional, you will provide outstanding patient care and physical support for patients and residents on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide great patient care and support with daily activities and personal hygiene.
  • Answer patient calls and determine the best way to assist them.
  • Assist patients or residents with bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, using the toilet, walking, standing, or exercising.
  • Turn and reposition bedridden patients to ensure their comfort and safety.
  • Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure patients or residents receive the appropriate diet.
  • Obtain information from physicians, caregivers, and nurses about patient conditions, treatment plans, and suggested activities.
  • Measure and record food and liquid intake and urinary and fecal output, and report changes to medical or nursing staff.
  • Record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate as requested by staff.
  • Examine patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine.
  • Remind patients to take medications and nutritional supplements.
  • Document observations of patient behavior, including complaints or physical symptoms to nurses.
  • Stay up to date on CNA training and facility policy and procedure.
Qualifications:
  • Must be able to pass a state background check and drug screening.
  • Must be certified as a CNA/DSP (certifications required).
  • CPR/BLS, TB, First Aid, etc.
  • Must be willing to work some weekends (required).

Morning shifts available 7am-7pm and Overnight 7pm to 7am. Immediate openings.
