Jacksons Point of Light Family Medicine Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to provide exceptional patient care services.

About the Role

This vital role involves providing medical services to patients under the guidance of a physician, including examining patients, verifying medical history and chart notes, making preliminary diagnoses, ordering diagnostic tests, creating patient-care plans, and prescribing medication as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient-care services, including examinations, medical history verification, and preliminary diagnoses.
  • Perform supportive procedures such as immunizations, injections, suturing, and wound care.
  • Answer phones, take messages, and greet patients.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma and a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with state accreditation based on certifying exam.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous clinical experience preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, along with benefits including 401(k), paid holidays, paid time off (PTO), medical and dental insurance.
