Under the supervision of nursing staff, you will maintain direct observation and visualization of identified patients, utilizing critical thinking skills and decisive judgment to ensure their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in meeting the needs of behavioral health patients
  • Maintain constant direct observation and visualization of identified patients
  • Work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
  • Utilize critical thinking skills and decisive judgment to ensure patient safety and well-being

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • CNA certification desired
  • BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Handle With Care certification within 6 months of hire
  • Previous mental health experience preferred
