Job Summary

We are seeking a non-CDL delivery driver with excellent customer service skills to join our fleet. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering our delicious products to customers in a 22'-26' freezer box truck.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and verify products for each delivery
  • Deliver products according to assigned routes and time windows
  • Verify delivery of each order with customers and place products in designated areas
  • Collect payment (cash or checks) where required
  • Pickup, load, and unload damaged goods and customer returns
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain ongoing communication with the route dispatcher
Requirements
  • 21+ years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class C Driver License with a clean driving record
  • Ability to use navigation tools such as GPS
  • Able to read, write, and speak English as it relates to the job and safety regulations
  • Ability to maintain basic logs and records
  • Must be able to test and obtain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate Card
  • Pass pre-employment testing (DOT-regulated drug screen, background check, motor vehicle report)
  • Able to remain professional and courteous at all times
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience delivering in the food-service industry
  • Pallet breakdown and hand cart delivery experience
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lift, push, or move product that weighs 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds
  • Frequently reach up to 72 inches to stack and unstack pallets and handcart
  • Constantly bend and twist while loading and unloading product, and retrieving items from truck
  • Must be able to climb on and off the truck, and up and down stairs
  • At times, transport product down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions
  • Must have the ability to talk and hear, both in person and on the phone
  • Specific vision abilities required to perform this job include close and distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Must carry less than two (2) points on driver's license
