About the Job

As a Regional Dry Van Driver, you will work 5 days a week, with the option to start on Sunday or Monday depending on the workload. You will have some time off on Friday or Saturday, depending on when you complete your week. Some Saturday work may be required, but most customers on regional routes do not operate on Saturdays. Not all trucks are equipped with APU's, but some have Optimized Idol.

Core Responsibilities

  • Inspect vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
  • Submit customer paperwork and deposits, including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
  • Maintain a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations.
  • Engage in daily customer interactions and maintain good customer relations.
  • Be available for work at all times to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.

Orientation Details

  • Orientation is not paid for
  • Does not cover accommodation
  • Drivers get their own room
  • No meals are included
  • Orientation is performed partly or in full online
  • Does not cover any travel expenses

Hiring Requirements

  • Class A license without any of the following restrictions: (E) Manual, (L,Z) Air Brakes, (G) Night Driving, (O) No Semi Trailer, (K) Intrastate Only or (M) Medical Variance
  • 2 years OTR experience
