About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Capital One. As a key member of our Agile team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences for our customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and participate in internal and external technology communities to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Utilize programming languages like Java and Go, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services, and AWS tools and services to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating smooth collaboration and decision-making processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in Java or Go.
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service, as well as CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
  • Strong understanding of Agile practices and experience developing REST APIs.
