Job Summary

Billings Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team as a Patient Care Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment, providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and compile patient medical data, including health history and test results.
  • Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, laboratory, and other ancillary services as appropriate.
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and managing infections within the scope of licensure and expertise.
  • Formulate diagnoses, develop, implement, and monitor patient care plans, recording progress notes and assisting in the provision of continuity of care.
  • Instruct and counsel patients and families regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens.
  • Refer patients to other healthcare providers and appropriate sources of care as necessary.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and off-hour rounding as it pertains to the specific department.
  • Identify needs and set goals for own growth and development, meeting all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program.
  • Current Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Approved to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a current Montana and/or Wyoming Board of Nursing License or Board of Medical Examiners License.
