About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to join our team at White River Dental Care. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the delivery of high-quality dental services.

Responsibilities
  • Organize and maintain lab equipment to ensure efficient and effective treatment delivery
  • Take and develop X-rays to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Provide comprehensive post-operative dental procedures to patients, prioritizing their comfort and well-being
  • Assist the dentist in managing dental emergencies, demonstrating a calm and composed demeanor under pressure
  • Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Positive and outgoing personality, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Superior working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
  • Ability to build rapport with patients, providing empathetic and compassionate care
  • Good manual dexterity, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Computer proficiency, with the ability to learn new programs and systems
  • Ability to travel for training and professional development, occasionally overnight
