We are seeking a qualified Class A CDL Fuel Transport Driver to join our team at R and M Fuel Transport, Inc. in Bakersfield, CA.

Job Summary: As a Class A CDL Fuel Transport Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting petroleum products to customers in California and Nevada. You will load and offload products, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and complete paperwork in compliance with company and safety procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Load and offload petroleum products safely
  • Deliver petroleum products to customers in a timely manner
  • Perform duties assigned by dispatch
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Complete and process paperwork
  • Comply with company rules, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness
  • Report any operating malfunctions, unsafe conditions, spills, injuries, and accidents immediately

Requirements:

  • Valid CA Class A CDL
  • Tanker and HazMat endorsements
  • One year of verifiable class A driving experience or equivalent
  • Clean MVR with no more than 1.5 points in the past 3 years
  • No more than 1 chargeable or preventable accident in the past 3 years
  • Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC card
  • Must be able to pass a D.O.T. physical, background check, and drug test
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must have basic mathematical skills
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Proven listening, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Must have a positive attitude

Salary: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour

Required Experience: 2 years of driving experience

Required Licenses or Certifications: Hazmat & Tanker Endorsements, Class A CDL, TWIC Card

Required Language: English
