Job Summary:

As a key member of our interdisciplinary team at Adventist Health, the Occupational Therapist - Rehabilitation Specialist plays a vital role in designing and implementing treatment programs to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions. This position requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care while meeting department objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify areas of improvement and create individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy interventions using established protocols and techniques, ensuring seamless communication with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, adhering to established deadlines and quality standards.
  • Supervise and mentor assigned assistants, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry advancements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum two years of experience in occupational therapy, with a strong focus on rehabilitation and patient care.
  • Current licensure in Occupational Therapy in the state of practice; National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy Certification also required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and other relevant certifications as specified by the organization.
