Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders and disabilities in a school district located in Christiana.

About the Role

The SLP will be responsible for conducting assessments and evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, providing therapy services in individual and group settings, and collaborating with the education team to develop IEPs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Design and implement effective treatment plans tailored to the needs of each student.
  • Deliver high-quality therapy services in both individual and group settings, promoting optimal communication skills and abilities.
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the education team to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that support students' diverse needs.
Requirements
  • Mastery of Speech and Communicative Disorders through a Master's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Holding an active PA SLP license is mandatory for this role.
  • Possession of active PA Clearances is also required.
  • Previous experience working with children in a school setting is highly valued.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, ensuring seamless interaction with colleagues and stakeholders.
