We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Peak Living.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will maintain the property's condition, deliver outstanding customer service, supervise move-in preparations, and operate within budget guidelines. This role may require weekend and after-hours emergency services.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Community Manager to recruit, inspect, counsel, and promote staff members as directed by the Regional Manager.
  • Train staff members to ensure they possess the necessary skills.
  • Schedule work efficiently.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to OSHA guidelines and Peak Living's safety protocols.
  • Ensure common areas are secure, well-maintained, and clean.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on pools, parking lots, building exteriors, and other facilities.
  • Provide capital improvement recommendations.
  • Respond to all service requests within 24 hours.
  • Visit competing properties to assess the quality of maintenance services.
  • Procure necessary parts to repair community assets.
  • Continuously educate staff on safe working conditions and stay informed about work safety issues.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate hands-on experience with typical apartment maintenance tasks.
  • Possess leadership skills and the ability to effectively deal with customers/residents.
  • Hold basic knowledge of HVAC systems and obtain CFC certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Minimum one year of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor with a professional management firm or six months as an Assistant with Peak Living.
  • Hold a valid Driver's License.

$63,000 - $75,000 per year, based on experience
