Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at the Beeville Independent School District.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Location: Special Education Office

Job Description:

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and providing speech-language pathology services to students with speech, voice, or language disorders.

This includes assessing students and providing therapeutic intervention to eliminate or reduce problems or impairments that interfere with their ability to derive full benefit from the educational program.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university
  • A valid Texas license as a speech-language pathologist granted by the State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (SBESLPA) or a Bachelor's degree and a valid Texas Education Agency speech therapy certificate
Key Skills
  • Ability to use accepted tests and measurements to assess communication disorders and conditions
  • Knowledge of evaluation, habilitation, and rehabilitation of speech-language disorders and conditions
  • Ability to instruct and manage student behavior
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
