Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider to join our Pediatric Surgery team at OSF HealthCare Children's Hospital of Illinois. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with our pediatric surgeons, and contribute to the development of our surgical services.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing or physician assistant services to pediatric surgery patients, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with our pediatric surgeons to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in the development and implementation of our surgical services, including quality improvement initiatives and educational programs.
- Contribute to the education and training of our nursing and medical staff.
- Participate in the development and implementation of our hospital's policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Current licensure to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Illinois.
- Acute Care Certification.
- First Assist Designation (preferred).
