Dietary Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a key member of our food services team, you will be responsible for assisting the cook in the preparation and service of meals, ensuring the highest quality food service is provided to our clients.

• Prepares and delivers food and trays, washes dishes, and cleans and sanitizes the kitchen according to health standards.
• Utilizes protective gear in all appropriate functions and adheres to all safety precautions.
• Follows infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Positively represents HCSG by following instructions, being courteous, and cooperative with supervisor, co-workers, and client staff.
• Interacts with residents, staff, and facility guests in a positive, pleasant, and tactful manner.

• Demonstrates a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Performs routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with specialized training in food service desirable.
• Current ServSafe certification and Food Handler's card are required.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
