Key ResponsibilitiesThis role involves coordinating scheduling procedures for various departments, ensuring minimal phone wait times. The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple processes including phone, fax, walk-in appointments and computer systems.
- Scheduling and Registration: Perform registration duties, answer phones, and respond to inquiries; appropriately route requests.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, acting as a resource/liaison for internal and external customers as well as team members.
- Data Entry and Documentation: Document transactions/calls in established databases and follow procedures for physician referral and class registration services.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with others to acquire information and resolve conflicts.
To be considered for this role, you must have an associates degree in a health-related field or 3 years of related job experience. One year of customer service experience or industry experience in a healthcare setting is also required.
In addition to the above requirements, excellent organization, interpersonal, communication/phone etiquette, and technical phone skills are essential. Computer knowledge and ability to learn new software are also necessary.
