Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation of Treatment Plans:
- Carry out treatment strategies as outlined by physical therapists, employing customized interventions to meet individual patient objectives.
- Administer designated modalities and therapeutic techniques as specified in the treatment plan.
- Documentation and Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of treatment sessions using clinic software, adhering to state and federal regulations.
- Oversee clinic supplies and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ensure the clinic environment is organized and safe to enhance the therapy experience.
- Patient Engagement and Support:
- Interact with patients, providing hands-on assistance and encouragement during therapy sessions.
- Approach patient interactions with compassion, ensuring confidentiality and respect.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning solutions to sanitize therapy areas and equipment.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines to maintain compliance with health regulations.
- Adhere to company policies to ensure quality care and operational effectiveness.
- Teamwork and Oversight:
- Foster positive relationships with colleagues, patients, and their families to create a collaborative work environment.
- Supervise therapy aides, providing necessary support and training.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the operations of the therapy department.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
- Associate's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Up to 6 months of applicable experience, or a combination of education and training.
- Licenses and Certifications:
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) from the appropriate regulatory board.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in word processing and typing.
- Familiarity with therapy-related software applications.
