Crossroads Veterinary Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering top-notch medical services.
Responsibilities- Administer medications, assist with treatments, and perform diagnostics and monitoring as needed.
- Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and surgical instruments.
- Provide patient dental care, including ultrasonic cleaning and polishing.
- Collect, prepare, and run or submit samples for requested tests.
- Communicate with clients regarding hospitalized patients, provide discharge instructions, and offer follow-up care.
- Assist with reception and front desk duties as needed.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A strong foundation in veterinary technology, including knowledge of medical procedures and laboratory techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other medical staff.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and move patients as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
