Responsibilities

Our pulmonary/critical care team is actively seeking a Full-Time provider for inpatient care, with some night phone coverage. This role presents a unique opportunity for professionals eager to practice within the full scope of their expertise.

This position is classified as an independent contractor role without benefits.

Qualifications:
  • Must hold either ACNP-BC or AGACNP-BC certification
  • Possess a DEA license or be in the process of obtaining one
  • Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
  • Responsibilities include:
  • 7 days on / 7 days off schedule
  • Managing new consults and follow-ups for pulmonary/critical care patients and responding to emergencies
  • Performing emergency procedures, with training available for the right candidate
  • Accurate billing and documentation for services rendered

Qualifications Required:

Master's degree from an accredited nursing program (MSN)

Ability to intubate patients (or willingness to learn post-training) and manage critical situations

Registered Nurse - RN (California Board of Registered Nursing)

Nurse Practitioner - NP (California Board of Registered Nursing, ACNP only)

Nurse Practitioner Furnisher (California DCA) - Current license to furnish medications in California

DEA Certificate issued by the U.S.

For those working in a Hospital/Acute Care Setting, certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) is required upon hire.

Centinela Medical Group offers competitive compensation, with a reasonable estimate for this role being $900-1,000 Daily Rate. The specific starting compensation will be determined during the hiring process, taking into account various factors such as skillset, years of experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
