About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Stella Maris, a leading provider of home health care services in central Maryland. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients adapt and manage their medical situations in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide speech therapy evaluations and treatments to patients in their homes, under the direction of the home care manager.
  • Gather and review patient information, complete initial evaluations, and monitor the effectiveness of treatment programs.
  • Collaborate with other health professionals, patients, and/or family members to develop discharge plans and advocate for patient needs.
  • Instruct patients, family members, and/or caregivers in techniques to be continued after discharge.
  • Manage work and patient schedules to optimize time usage and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation in medical records and maintain compliance with standards.
Requirements
  • State of Maryland License in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) or Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Prior experience in home health preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
