Silgan Dispensing Systems is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead our global finance and accounting divisions. This role presents an exciting chance to become an integral part of a vibrant corporate Leadership Team. We are in search of a proactive individual who will significantly influence the finance team in delivering exceptional financial outcomes and establishing SDS as the preferred partner for our clients. This position collaborates with the leadership team to define the strategic direction for the organization.

Your Responsibilities and Impact at Silgan Dispensing Systems:
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis across all business dimensions to establish a holistic improvement agenda. Collaborate with business leaders to enhance operational focus and drive improvements.
  • Oversee all Audit and Compliance functions: Internal/Substantive/Statutory Audit adherence, SOX compliance, Internal Controls, and Accounting Policies and Procedures.
  • Strategic Business Guidance: Lead strategy formulation, M&A activities, commercial strategy, margin enhancement, capital management, operational footprint analysis, costing, competitor assessment, and Free Cash Flow management.
  • Financial Administration: Manage Insurance, Tax, Treasury, Accounts Receivable and Payable, Intercompany financing, Cash Management, Credit, Collections, Royalties, Transfer pricing, and Working Capital Management.
  • Monthly Closing: Supervise the closing process, conduct Monthly Performance Review meetings, and oversee Plant Financial Reviews.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Handle budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis, SG&A, Host Analytics, Bridges, Board meeting preparations, and operational and commercial productivity assessments.
  • Information Technology for SDS Divisions: Facilitate SDS business processes by providing guidance and support as IT collaborates with the business on data management, application development, ERP and system integration, and reporting.
  • Team Development: Mentor and coach the Finance Team, focusing on performance management.
Qualifications for Success:
  • Strong analytical mindset with a collaborative business partnering approach.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and convey complex financial concepts to non-financial personnel while navigating decisions with the Leadership Team.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement: Objectivity and the courage to implement change.
  • MBA preferred; CPA or CMA certification is advantageous.
  • Experience in public accounting, plant controller, or divisional/corporate controller roles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge across all financial domains, including accounting, FP&A, internal controls, audit, treasury, risk management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proven track record in developing, leading, and inspiring large, multinational teams.
  • Familiarity with international/global accounting and finance practices.
  • Experience in leading acquisitions and business integration efforts.
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing operations and product costing methodologies.
