We're Seeking a Dedicated Wait Staff Member

Covenant Living Communities is a nationwide family of Continuing Care Retirement Communities, and we're looking for a Wait Staff member to join our team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional service to residents and guests in the dining room during meal times. You'll also be responsible for preparing salads and desserts as directed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare salad bar items for lunch, including filling the salad bar with ice and setting it up for service.
  • Gather plates and bowls as needed for the salad bar and soup kettle.
  • Prepare desserts and serve lunch to residents, guests, and staff.
  • Bus tables and reset as needed.
  • Assist in setting up meetings, coffee, teas, and other events.
  • Prepare salads and desserts for special functions under the direction of a supervisor.
  • Assist with clean-up after special events.
  • Clean up the server area at the end of your shift.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of prep items in the produce cooler, including salad dressings and fruits.
  • Complete weekly cleaning assignments as scheduled.
Requirements:
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
  • One year of institutional food service experience.
  • Willingness to work and interact with older adults.
  • Ability to organize tasks and work independently.
