Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients.

  • Prepare surgical trays and arrange setups for medical procedures.
  • Document treatment details in patient records.
  • Support the Lead Surgical Assistant and/or Dental Hygienists.
  • Process and sterilize surgical instruments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas.
  • Prepare and ensure the sterilization of instruments.
  • Assist in the discharge of patients post-sedation.
  • Digitally archive and scan radiographs and imaging.
  • Provide training on clinical protocols and procedures.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of the office and clinical environment.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on dental apparatus.
  • Manage biohazardous and sharps waste materials.
  • Oversee inventory of dental supplies.
  • Adhere to OSHA/WISHA regulations, aseptic practices, and HIPAA standards.
