Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our project controls team, you'll be responsible for independently applying planning and progress measurement procedures, quantity surveying, cost control procedures, and analysis to large EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply sound knowledge of project controls principles to estimate quantities, coordinate with site construction teams, and review scope of work, project preamble, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ensure quantity take-offs are done per company standards and project requirements, and scheduled scope is available in the system for monitoring.
  • Monitor field design changes, process subcontractor work payments, and evaluate progress measurement submitted by subcontractors.
  • Assess change work orders and variations, monitor flow of payments to subcontractors, and generate reports to the company's main system for progress measurement and accounting.
  • Conduct joint surveys, rate analysis, certification, and approvals for payments, and prepare deviation and variation statements for final payments.
  • Implement processes with periodic reviews and recommendations for process improvement, and assess change work orders and variations in line with the contract of agreement.
Requirements
  • Advanced technical education (B. Sc/M.Sc. or equivalent) or related site experience.
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience, with 5+ years in the EPC or construction industry.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, autonomous work style, and ability to think critically and solve problems.
  • High level of coordination skills, effectiveness in prioritizing tasks, and ability to work with others in a multifunctional team.
