Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be an integral member of our patient care team, providing personalized care and attention to our patients. You will work closely with our doctors and other team members to deliver high-quality dental care and exceptional patient experiences.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.
- Work closely with our doctors to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct thorough patient screenings and medical history documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies through ongoing education and training.
- Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening.
- CPR Certification.
- 2+ years of clinical experience.
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year.
