We are seeking a skilled Assembly II to join our team at Builders FirstSource. As an Assembly II, you will play a critical role in the production process, ensuring the efficient and accurate assembly of various products.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble products according to specifications, using a variety of tools and equipment.
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
- Up to six months of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior carpentry experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
The Assembly II will work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and extreme temperatures. The noise level is usually loud, and personal protective equipment will be required.
