Are you dedicated to the field of Oncology? Nebraska Cancer Specialists is seeking an experienced Oncology RN Case Manager. This role involves working in close collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the needs of patients and determine suitable interventions based on clinical expertise and teamwork.
- Manage patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with healthcare practitioners regarding patient care issues as necessary.
- Utilize the E-Scribe system within the EMR for medication management.
- Ensure all patient interactions are documented accurately in the electronic health record.
- Monitor and manage fax communications efficiently.
- Provide patient instructions as directed by healthcare providers.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- A valid Registered Nursing License in the State of Nebraska or Compact State is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience in oncology nursing and/or telephone triage is preferred.
