Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Hematology/Oncology team at Duke Raleigh Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our cancer care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with various types of cancer, including hematology and oncology.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote optimal health outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Bachelors Degree in Nursing (or higher), Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
  • At least 12 months of experience in oncology nursing, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
