Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy services to patients within the inpatient setting. As a member of our Therapy Department, you will be responsible for evaluating patients' physical conditions and developing comprehensive treatment plans. You will administer physical therapy interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, and function, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care. You will also educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and home care techniques, and maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Administer physical therapy interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, and function.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and home care techniques.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.

Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in hospital/acute rehab.
  • Current professional license.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Graduate of an APTA approved Bachelor's degree program (or foreign equivalent).

Skills/Abilities/Competencies Required
  • Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
  • Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
  • Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
