Position Overview
The Warehouse Logistics Specialist plays a crucial role in the organization by ensuring the efficient staging and delivery of materials to the production team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and accurately process all incoming shipments, ensuring packing slips are turned in promptly.
  • Retrieve and prepare materials for various jobs, including returns and service requests.
  • Organize and stage bills of materials for upcoming projects, ensuring all necessary components are available.
  • Communicate effectively with production team members via radio for timely updates.
  • Unload and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips, identifying any discrepancies in quantity, type, or quality.
  • Submit packing lists and purchase orders for all materials received on the same day.
  • Ensure all materials are moved to their designated locations efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized materials and receiving area.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies in shipments.
  • Initiate purchase orders to keep stock levels of materials, supplies, and tools adequate on a daily basis.

Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer operations.
  • Familiarity with power tools and basic construction concepts, including the ability to read a tape measure.
  • Previous forklift operation experience is essential.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • Must possess a clean driving record.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
