About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform adult and pediatric trans-thoracic echocardiograms, trans-esophageal echocardiograms, and stress echocardiograms
  • Utilize advanced ultrasound instruments to produce clinically useful diagnostic information
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiac ultrasound technology and techniques
Requirements
  • Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) or a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience in sonography/ultrasound is preferred
