This strategic and professional position is responsible for selling LPL Financial approved planning products (e.g., mutual funds, stocks, bonds, annuities, life insurance, etc.). As a key member of the Peoples Bancorp (OH) team, this position has a dual employment relationship with LPL Financial and the bank. This position has access to extremely sensitive information and confidential data and is expected to exercise professionalism and confidentiality in all relevant matters. The position adheres to all LPL and bank policies and procedures, especially as they apply to brokerage firms. Work is performed within the framework of standard guidelines; however, a high level of independent judgment and discretion is required in performing assigned tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans for clients, taking into account their unique goals, risk tolerance, and financial situations.
- Sell LPL Financial approved planning products, such as mutual funds, stocks, bonds, annuities, and life insurance, to clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and product offerings to provide informed advice to clients.
- Collaborate with other Peoples Bancorp (OH) team members to achieve business objectives and provide a seamless client experience.
Requirements:
- Possess a four-year college degree from an accredited university or institution with a major area of study.
- Possess a minimum of two years of professional work experience as a Financial Planner or Broker/Dealer.
- Plus, additional education and/or training.
- Possess proper licensing and/or willing to acquire proper licensing.
