Job Summary: Vascular Sonographer

We are seeking an experienced Vascular Sonographer to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center. As a key member of our imaging department, you will perform non-invasive ultrasound procedures, analyze sonographic findings, and provide high-quality patient care.

Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year based on experience.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Perform non-invasive ultrasound procedures to recognize sonographic characteristics of normal and abnormal tissue, structures, and blood flow.
  • Analyze sonographic findings throughout the examination to complete the comprehensive exam and provide sufficient data to the physician for diagnosis.
  • Notify appropriate personnel when procedural findings are significant or patient condition is of concern.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Nursing Program.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) credential preferred.
