Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse

Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of practice settings, including intensive care units, and experience a range of patient care scenarios.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to fill a 13-week travel nursing position in Silver Spring, Maryland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Document patient care and progress in the medical record.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current RN licensure in the state of Maryland.
  • Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of recent clinical experience in the ICU setting.
  • Active BLS certification and ACLS certification (if required by the facility).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
