As a Systems Engineer at Virgin Galactic, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of commercial spaceflight. Our team is dedicated to innovation, safety, and delivering exceptional experiences to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the integration, development, and testing of complex systems for spaceflight
  • Ensure safety and regulatory compliance throughout the development process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop spacecraft and associated systems
  • Identify and manage risks associated with system integration and development
  • Plan and execute testing and validation processes to verify system performance and safety
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field from an accredited university
  • 4+ years' experience in related engineering experience
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, methodologies, and processes
  • Proficiency in MBSE techniques, tools, and practices
  • Experience in gathering, analyzing, and managing system requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with 3DX or similar Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software
  • Relevant certifications in systems engineering or related areas
  • Understanding of spacecraft systems, including propulsion, avionics, thermal control, mechanical, and life support systems
