Job Summary:
Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team as a Float Phlebotomist. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting and processing blood and other specimens from patients in a variety of settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and process blood and other specimens from patients in a variety of settings
- Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering
- Champion safety, compliance, and quality control
- Travel between worksites to provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous phlebotomy training or experience
- Valid driver's license and excellent driving record for the past three years
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer and data entry skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
- Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
