As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and regulatory compliance of our heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of our scientific environments and supporting the growth of our company.

Responsibilities:

* Establish relationships with key departmental leads and develop facilities requirements for emerging and expanding business units.
* Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
* Monitor HVAC systems and operations and ensure that routine preventive maintenance is performed according to established schedules and standards.
* Respond to hot and cold calls and resolve issues.
* Vendor Management and oversight responsibility.
* Check, repair, and/or replace valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, and other functional components of an HVAC system.
* Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
* Document all work in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
* Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments.
* Apply all applicable OSHA and related local safety requirements to all assigned work.
* Estimate time and material costs on HVAC projects.
* Verify and implement preventive maintenance standards on all HVAC equipment.
* Operate and maintain the building automation system.

Requirements:

* High School diploma or GED
* 5 years of related work experience
* EPA CFC Universal Certificate
* Building Management System (Client) operation and controls
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and general working knowledge of Internet for business use

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a highly regulated environment
* HVAC in critical environments such as clean rooms and/or HVAC within the life sciences industry
* Building facility maintenance (Drywall, plumbing, and other tasks associated with the upkeep of a facility)
