Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Engine Assembler to join our team at Clarke Power Services. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling diesel engines to meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble diesel engines according to technical specifications and blueprints
  • Fasten parts together using bolts, screws, and other fasteners
  • Remove small quantities of metal using hand files and scrapers to ensure a precise fit
  • Operate drill presses, punch presses, and riveting machines to assist in assembly operations
  • Use hand tools and pneumatic or battery impact tools to complete tasks
  • Understand torque values and use torque wrenches to ensure accurate assembly
  • Detail-oriented and able to read parts lists to ensure accurate assembly
  • Complete documentation and other necessary paperwork
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous assembly experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds with assistance
