Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare various breakfast foods for the Hy-Vee Market Grille, including hot and cold items.
  • Partner with Assistant Managers and Food Service Manager to ensure seamless service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to company policies and sanitation procedures.
  • Provide prompt and friendly customer service, answering phone calls and responding to customer inquiries.

Requirements:

  • 6 months or less of similar or related work experience.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions, write identifying information, and request supplies orally or in writing.
  • Visual requirements include vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision.

Work Environment:

Frequently exposed to a cool and warm environment, dampness, noise from equipment, and vibrations from some equipment. Possible equipment movement hazards from slicers and choppers. Daily exposure to cleaning chemicals and solvents.

Grill, toaster, coffee machine, oven, steamer, chopper, hot case, kitchen utensils, knives, stove, chicken roaster, can opener, and C.A.R.
