Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist Assistant to join our team at Carle Foundation Hospital. As a Radiologic Technologist Assistant, you will assist the radiologic technologist in performing basic direct and indirect patient care according to medical center policies and procedures, ensuring quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the technologist in performing basic patient care according to medical center policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care of assigned patients of all ages.
  • Participate in assigned maintenance tasks such as cleaning equipment, stocking necessary room supplies, and transporting paperwork internally between work areas.
  • Assist others in assignment completion, relay information in an accurate manner to correct individuals, and use maintenance services efficiently by promptly reporting unsafe equipment or risky situations.
  • Prioritize messages and work in an efficient and consistent manner, and assist physicians and other hospital personnel in locating images for review in PACS.
Requirements
  • Candidate must be enrolled in a Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Basic reading, writing, oral English skills, and ability to respond appropriately to customer/co-worker interactions.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and communicate only the facts to recipients or decline to reveal information.
  • Ability to project a professional, friendly, helpful demeanor and work effectively in a team environment.
